My understanding is that WebOS is a Java platform and not compatible with Kodi’s development. I could be wrong though. WebOS is a web OS. Web technologies mainly: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Actually apparently it's a Linux based OS, it is just drastically different, so unable to be ported directly.
